Dear friends,

we are sending warm greetings from the town of Hranice, the place with a rich history and a beautiful landscape, where there is the deepest abyss in Europe.
Our school has nearly five hundred students. It also includes the school cafeteria, kindergarten and the youth center where younger pupils spend their free time after school, before parents pick them up.
The photograph shows pupils from class 7.B who welcomed the Polish partner, school Rydułtowy, last year. Then you can see the pupils who sent their characteristics to all participating countries of the project and are looking for friends to communicate in English.

Class 7.B are trained according to the curriculum with extended maths classes.  Pupils from 6th class  have also chosen another language to learn - mostly German, but also  Russian or  French. They have a total of five foreign language lessons a week.
Students have different interests - mostly attending local Art School or various sports organizations. As a team, we last took part in the Dragon Boat races - nineteen students and a teacher were supposed to, as soon as possible in the same rhythm, paddle 200 meters.

Greetings from the Czech Republic!
